This units of competence leading to accrediation at the appropriate level that students will study include: Complex Cold Water, Complex Hot Water, Central Heating, Complex Sanitation, Gas Safety and Appliances, System Planning and Customer Care. Apprentices also have to study and pass the external Water Regulations exam, Unvented exam and have the opportunity to gain the Gas ACS.

Applicants must be between the ages of 16 and 24 to be eligible for funding and be employed within the Plumbing and Domestic Heating industry.
Applicants must have achieved NVQ level 2 in Plumbing and should possess the necessary motivation and commitment to study. All applicants will be required to attend an interview and undertake an initial assessment.

PROGRESSION/CAREERS OPPORTUNITIES

ASSESSMENT STRUCTURE Online multiple choice exam and practical assessments plus and assessor visits the workplace monthly to assess qualification progress
