Level: Entry Level 1-3

Course content:
This course is designed to help people with learning difficulties and disabilities gain the skills to get a job and live in the community.
The course includes work experience that is arranged to suit the needs and interests of each individual student.
Course Structure:
Classes are held at Roehampton or Wandsworth and runs five days a week. Students have access to a wide range of support which may include tutorial support, speech therapy, working in a small group and learning support assistant support. All students have close tutorial support. Continuing students have access to a summer programme in liaison with social services.

Course resources:
Enrichment activities, base rooms and specialist resources are available. All students have access to our fully equipped state of the art learning centre. This included free internet access.

Assessment:
Continuous assessment and ongoing review of individual targets.

Next step:
Continue onto a mainstream vocational course, a Skills for Life course or employment. .

Fees Info
The fee where stated is an 'INCLUSIVE FEE' for UK/EU students. This fee includes the tuition fee, examination fee and exam board registration fee. You may have to pay extra for materials for the course. If you are under 19 years or you are in receipt of an income related benefit the course and exam fee is FREE. Students aged 60+ years pay 70% of this fee. Students aged 19+ will also have to pay a College Registration Fee of £30 (or £20 if you receive benefit) once per academic year.Materials costs:
A contribution towards the cost of materials for cookery (currently £1 per class) and some visits in the community is required.
