This course is a beginners acoustic guitar course and therefore will have mixed abilities within the group. It is designed to teach the beginner basic and more complex chords. Students are presented with a repertoire of popular songs and learn how to play them using various playing techniques.
About the Course
Students will extend their understanding of chords and notes, learn about playing techniques such as strumming, Arpeggio style etc., timing and rhythmic structure.
Course Aims
To take the basic playing skills and develop them into useful tools for playing songs and melodies.

How is the course assessed?
No written assessment. A practical assessment and a performance of guitar skills learned so far.
Are there any resources to obtain?
You will need to bring your own guitar.
