This is a one-year course, mainly practical, with the flexibility to include many sports decided by the group. An important part of the course is the 30 hours voluntary leadership, undertaken in local schools and clubs.

This is a one-year course, mainly practical, with the flexibility to include many sports decided by the group. An important part of the course is the 30 hours voluntary leadership, undertaken in local schools and clubs, which will give you the opportunity to learn leadership skills, and to provide voluntary assistance alongside qualified coaches and teachers, thereby increasing your own knowledge, experience and confidence of coaching. You will learn:
• How to plan and organise a session.
• Ways of improving fitness for sport.
• Working with children.
• First aid.
• Working with people with disabilities.
• How to improve and use minor games.

Fees
No Course Fees for Under 19's. Over 19's must pay, or claim Level 2 or Level 3 Entitlement for FREE courses .
