What can I progress to?
The qualification will provide a basis for progression to the study of the IAB Level 2 Certificate in Book keeping.

What is the course about?
This beginner's level provides the candidates to gain knowledge of basic manual book keeping and double entry. They will gain an initial insight into both cash and credit business transactions, VAT and other computerised routines.

What are the course outcomes?
basic knowledge of manual book keeping and double entry.

How will you be assessed?
All learning outcomes will be assessed through an externally set and marked examination lasting 1.5 hours consisting of a series of one practical task in the form of a case study and one theory task which may be hand written or prepared using word-processing software.
