Infection Control

Designed to meet the requirements of the Department of Health Guidelines on Control of Infection in Residential and Nursing Homes, other appropriate legislation and National Care Standards, this training course will provide participants with an overview of the key elements of infection control, an understanding of how infections might occur, and how good practice can reduce their likelihood and prevent the spread of infection. Suitable for: This course is intended for all members of staff working in the healthcare setting who need to be aware of the issues surrounding infection control, and no prior knowledge is assumed or required.
