What will you be learning?
This course focuses on performance using practical skills, knowledge and understanding and includes 3 core units: Engineering environment awareness; engineering techniques and engineering principles and 3 optional units with a mix of mechanical, electrical and electronic disciplines. You will be assessed by practical tasks and exams.

What happens when you have finished?
You can progress onto a Level 3 in Engineering and Technology, an engineering Apprenticeship or enter employment.

  • Working Tax Credit (your assessed household income needs to be less than 15,276 per year (amount subject to change)

• You are studying for your
  
  first full Level 2 qualification, whatever your age.
• You are aged 19-24 on the 31st of August prior to the start of your course and studying for your
  
  first full Level 3 qualification, whatever your age.
