Introduction to Childminding/Parenting Skills

Course Overview
This course will focus on understanding the role of parents, the importance of listening to children, recognising difficult behaviour in children and recognising how children learn through daily family activities.

Course Structure
A 30 - hour course run over 10 weeks


Qualification Aims
This course will lead to an OCN Progression award at Entry Level. Students can then progress onto an Early Years Entry Level or Level 1 course in the College or an NVQ in the workplace.
