Course programme
The Introduction to Counselling Skills is a standalone course to introduce the basics of counselling skills. Whilst it is a pre-requisite for those entering the COSCA Counselling Diploma, it is open to all and recommended for anyone considering counselling and psychotherapy training. The primary aim of the course is for participants to understand the theoretical base for core counselling skills through experiential learning and to be able to relate these concepts to Transactional Analysis practice. The course is offered by CPTI as a component part of training that meets COSCA’s requirement for counselling skills training as a pre-requisite to entering for a COSCA diploma course.
