2. Course description The course is designed to introduce anyone with a knowledge in photography to the principles, knowledge, understanding and skills necessary to generate images using a film or digital camera. You will complete a photographic project which will be designed in collaboration with your tutor.

3. Entry requirements You should have a basic understanding of photography and how a SLR camera works. You will also need evidence of an active interest and involvement in photography (a level one certificate in a relevant subject or a photographic portfolio).Communication skills in literacy and numeracy will be useful.Your tutor will help formulate your programme of study.IT skills are essentialIf English is not your first language, you may need an assessment before enrolling on this course. Equipment required Students should possess a Digital or Film 35mm camera (DSLR/SLR) or a fully manual compact camera for this course. 5.
