Course Director

Kevin is the owner and course director of Kawns. Educated to Certificate in education, Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and holds Corporate membership of IOSH & IIRSM. Courses experienced in delivering all courses in the NEBOSH portfolio and is a NEBOSH examiner and practical assessor for level three courses.

Course programme

The course is five days duration consisting of four days in the classroom carrying out theoretical and practical study. The fifth day is undertaken in the delegates own workplace where they will have to prepare a 8 part project. This course has modules covering.

  • Control of substances

Is the course assessed? There are assessments at the end of the course and students should be prepared to do some work outside the classroom. The assessments consist of a 2 hour written examination and a workplace project which is undertaken on the fifth day.
A certificate issued by IOSH is valid for three years.
