Who is this course for?
This course is for mature students with an interest in ICT, who wish to develop their ICT skills with a view to studying further at Level 2.

What are the entry requirements?
You will require having Literacy level at Entry 3, Numeracy level at Entry 3 and basic keyboarding abilities
After applying you will have an interview to determine which course is suitable for your needs and abilities.

• Minimum Literacy Level: Entry 3

You can read longer pieces of writing and understand the main ideas without help. You can write longer pieces of writing of 100 words or more.
• Minimum Numeracy Level: Entry 3

You can work with numbers, symbols, and simple diagrams to solve problems. You can add and subtract and do easy multiplication. You can use fractions and simple decimals.

What qualification will I receive?
You will receive City & Guilds ITQ - QCF Certificate for IT Users Level 1 certificate.

Where can it lead?
You can go on to study ITQ Level 2 course or the IT Practitioners Level 2 course.
