Course programme
We shall be reading from Five Roman Poets and Five Roman Authors. We will continue from Latin 5 Poetry and Prose: Module 1 (please, check with the Classics Department for the exact point to start at).
Students will be assigned a passage of the target text to prepare for the next class. General discussion on language, style, themes, cultural points arising from the text. Homework: about two to three hours per week.
