Candidates will be enrolled onto the Award initially. Upon successful completion candidates can then choose their option to continue onto either the Certificate or the Diploma via the unit accreditation route. To complete the Award initially candidates will undertake two units: “Managing Stress and Conflict in the Organisation” and “Leading Teams to Achieve Organisational Goals and Objectives”. This is a blended learning qualification. The candidates will be expected to attend a course induction and an instructional session for each of the 2 modules. Candidates will then complete the majority of the course through self-study and on-line activities. Therefore candidates will need to be able to access the on-line resources through their own technology or via the college’s library facilities. Upon successful completion of the 2 modules candidates can then choose their next modules from a range of options including: “Becoming an Effective Leader”, “Managing Customer Relations”, Assessing Your Own Leadership Capability and Performance” amongst many others.

Entry Requirements
You will need to be working in a management/supervisory role and have GCSE English at Level 3 or equivalent. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their commitment to the course and self-study activities.
Delivery and Assessment
The course is assessed through assignments, presentations and self-evaluation reviews. Assignments will be completed at the end of each module.
Progression
After the first 2 modules candidates will need to complete additional modules to achieve the Certificate and then the Diploma. The qualification will provide progression opportunities to other qualifications in higher education and support the continuing professional development of candidate.
