AAT Foundation
Foundation - One-year course
This is a one-year course that is designed for students who want to work in the field of Finance such as Banking, Insurance, Finance offices, Business and Commerce.

AAT is a professional body that is supported by over 30,000 employers worldwide and offers the fastest route to becoming a Chartered Accountant.

Students will study seven units, which include: Preparing Ledger Balances and Initial Trial Balances; Recording Income and Receipts and Making and Recording Payments.

Careers and Further Studies
On completion of the Foundation Level, students can progress on to the next level, Intermediate Level 3. On completion of Level 3 students can progress on to the final Level, Technician Level 4. Once Level 4 is completed, students can practice as Accountants, work in the field of Finance or pursue further studies to become a Chartered Accountant. Students can also go to university with possible exemptions in the first and/or second year.

General Entry Requirements
At least four GCSEs at grade D or above including English Language and Maths.
