To achieve the NPTC Level 2 Certificate in Animal Care, learners are required to achieve 15 credits, the units on offer from Canine Studies College achieve 20 credits as follows :-
Unit 201
Maintain Animal Health and Welfare

There are four learning outcomes to this unit. The learner will:

3. Know common diseases and disorders, their prevention and treatment
