Introduction

For those who wish to gain the knowledge and skills required to plan, prepare and deliver a safe and effective activity session for a group of participants.

The Active IQ Certificate in Leading Health Related Activity Sessions is at level 2 on the on the National Qualifications Framework.

Course Structure and Assessment:

This qualification comprises three units, namely:


Unit 1 – Plan and Prepare an Activity Session

Assessed session plan together with health and safety checklist appropriate to any equipment used


Unit 2 – Deliver an Activity Session

Assessed direct observation of candidate leading a session


Unit 3 – Conclude and Review a Session

Assessed direct observation

Objectives:
