Course programme

'Foundation Food Safety' has been the UK's leading food safety training e-learning course. Now we have updated our highly effective training tool to help maximise understanding of the subject.

The course features even more interactive exercises, which provide the most learner-friendly, highly comprehensive level 2 Food Safety training programme available in the world.

Our recipe for success with this programme was to include the most relevant content and present this in an interactive way.

It causes us great distress when we see our competition produce low-budget courses, which are basically 'PowerPoints on screen'. The result for clients is that delegates do not enjoy the training and this invariably leads to a very poor uptake and low success rate. By replacing page after page of boring text with interactive and fun exercises they created a highly effective training tool that maximises understanding of the subject.

This training program covers:

  • Introduction to food safety
  • Microbiological hazards
  • Food poisoning and its control
  • Contamination hazards and controls
  • HACCP from delivery to service
  • Personal hygiene
  • Food premises and equipment
  • Food pests and pest control
  • Cleaning and disinfection
  • Food safety enforcement
