2. Course description For the NVQ 2 you will study core units such as 'Work in a business environment', 'Communicate in a business environment' and 'Improve your own performance'. Optional units will be chosen with relevance to your employment but could be units such as 'Solve business problems', 'Prepare text from notes', 'Co-ordinate and event', or 'Analyse and report data'. Along with this you will also be completing a Level 2 Certificate in Administration and Functional Skills in Maths, English, and ICT.

3. Entry requirements You must be working within an office environment for a minimum of 30 hours per week. You will be assessed and interviewed prior to acceptance onto the programme. 4. Equipment required No equipment required 5. Assessment method You will learn through a mixture of classes, group work, work-related activities and independent study and research. You will be taught in well-equipped general classrooms with the latest technology. As part of your programme, assessment is on a continuous basis with a number of assessments in each module. Assessments take a variety of forms, such as written reports, essays, presentations and group projects.
