Looking for a way to train your workforce in the skills required improving and maintaining your business? Advanced Catering Apprenticeship could be the answer. Consider recruiting an apprentice or develop an existing employee, allowing them to learn the skills and techniques they need whilst achieving a nationally recognised qualification. A course designed to up-skill young people working in the catering industry. Mandatory modules; Maintain a safe, hygienic and secure working environment; Maintain, handle and clean knives; Work effectively as part of a hospitality team; Maintain food safety when storing, preparing and cooking food. Examples of the optional units; cook and finish basic fish dishes, cook and finish basic poultry dishes, cook and finish basic meat dishes, cook and finish basic vegetable dishes, prepare, cook and finish basic hot sauce, prepare, cook and finish basic soups, prepare, cook and finish basic pastry products, cook and finish simple bread and dough products.
