Course programme

Course Content
  • Level 2 NVQ in Activity Leadership.
  • Employment Rights and Responsibilities.
  • Level 2 Certificate in Learning and Physical Education in School Sport.
You will be placed in a local secondary school, ideally within the PE department, and support activity sessions, coaching sessions and fitness sessions. You will be released to come to College one day a week to complete the theory elements of the course.

Who is it for?

Individuals who enjoy coaching, teaching and leading who are looking for a career in education and/or teaching Physical Education. Due to the safeguarding responsibilites of this type of vocation applicants should have ideally completed a full time course before applying and on completeion of Year 11.
