2. Course description For the NVQ element of the Apprenticeship you will study two core units and four optional units at Level 3. Optional units will be chosen with relevance to your employment. Along with this you will also complete a Level 3 Certificate in Administration.

3. Entry requirements You will need 4 GCSE grades A*-D, which must include English at D; or a full Level 1 qualification at merit grade with literacy and numeracy at an appropriate level; or a full Level 1 NVQ with literacy and numeracy at an appropriate level. You will need to be working within an office environment for at least 30 hours per week. You will be assessed and interviewed prior to enrolment on programme. 4. Equipment required No equipment required 5. Assessment method You will be assessed in the workplace and demonstrate your knowledge and skills by a variety of methods, such as written reports, witness statements, observations and professional discussions. Your assessor will liaise with you to set up mutually convenient times for consultation and assessment visits at your place of work. Attendance at College may be required to complete Functional Skills and some parts of the knowledge certificate.
