Level 4 Managing Food Safety in Manufacturing.
6 day course with exam.
CIEH accredited and Ofqual regulated.
Suitable for those working in manufacturing at a senior level or for sole traders.

The exam is in two parts. Both exams are written, there is no multiple choice options. Candidates will have an assignment to complete under exam conditions and a written examination. Candidates will know the assignment details before the exam.

About this course

The successful candidate will be able to:

implement food safety controls in their work place
Train and supervise staff
Design an improvement plan for the food business
Determine good practice
Contribute to food safety management
Liaise with EHO's and pest controllers
Become a member of the CIEH

Owners, Sole Traders, Supervisors with a level 3 in food safety, Managers, QA, QM's, Purchasers, Food packaging companies, Auditors, Trainers with experience working in a food manufacturing setting.

Ideally candidates should have a level 3 in food safety prior to the course. Good command of English with good reading, good and neat handwriting and good spelling skills. Ability to analyse scientific information and apply it to food safety. Ability to work and research on your own. Access to the internet for research and sending course work. Take part in training others.

Candidates are issued with a CIEH level 4 award in food safety for manufacturing certificate. This course is Ofqual regulated. Certificates are valid for 3 years. If you fail the course, no certificate is issued by the CIEH. You have 6 months to resit.

We are a CIEH audited registered centre. We were audited by the CIEH auditors and were found to be fully compliant with their procedures for training. We work for other training providers and local authorities. Our lead trainer also delivers courses for adult education centres in London.

We currently have a 100% pass rate on the Level 4 food safety in manufacturing course. We only issue CIEH certificates. The CIEH is the voice of Environmental Health Officers.
