This course aims to help you as film enthusiasts develop some interpretive and critical skills of the moving image as it relates to London’s cinematic treatment, both factual and fictional, and thus to the moving image in general. You will consider the proposition that while London is an actual geographical location it is equally a construct of the films that have always purported to be merely portraying it.
