The Maintenance Operations Level 2 is made up of eight units. The Diploma is designed to prepare students for work in their particular occupational area

What will I study?
Performing Maintenance Operations tasks of a non-complex nature, carry-out safe working practices in construction, quantities and communicating with others, building methods and construction technology, small scale maintenance trade repairs, painting, decorating and associated trade repairs, plastering and wood trade repairs. You will also learn functional skills which are English, Maths and ICT as required.



How will I learn?
Your individual learning plan will help you learn in a way that best suits your needs. You will agree a work programme with your tutor, which will include the setting of individually assessed tasks, periodic reviews and tutorials.

How will I be assessed?
Progressive assessments of all course elements are carried out on an individual basis. All assessments contribute towards course units, which will build for certification. Assessment also includes an external test.

Where could it lead?
The course will provide you with the necessary skills, training and knowledge to progress to an apprenticeship in Maintenance Operations or employment in the construction industry.
