Course programme

At the end of this learning experience, delegates will be better able to understand the need for effective marketing and product identity. They will also see how effective campaigns can provide focus and support for day to day selling techniques;

  • Identify what is meant by the term “Marketing” and the effective promotion of a product or service
  • Recognise your target audience for your specific product or service
  • Identify the features and benefits of the product or the service you can offer
  • Create a “desire” or help establish a “need” for your product or service
  • Establish and understand what similar products are on the market
  • Recognise who your competitors are and look at ways you could penetrate and capture some of their established markets
  • Express the “unique selling points” of your product or services and design an effective “campaign” to make your target audience aware of what you can offer and how it can benefit them
  • Provide “point of sale” materials and support for your front line sales team and selling agents, in order to help them promote the product or service, establish new sales as well as helping them with “sales conversation”, “selling alternatives” or “switch selling”
  • Establish the value of “after sales service” and how to leave a lasting positive impression of your business and how to promote this to potential customers
