Massage Therapy (Level 3)

The content of the course will include the following:

• Health and safety practise in the salon
  • Client care and communication
  • Origins of massage and principles of complementary and alternative therapy
  • Personal health and wellbeing
  • Body massage
  • Aromatherapy – pre-blended oils
  • Indian head massage
  • Stone therapy
  • Anatomy & Physiology
  • Maths & English additional skills

In addition, a weekly progress tutorial session will assist in supporting and tracking individual progress.

Skills week – developing additional practical skills and experience

Two Spa week experiences – understanding the smooth running of a busy Spa. Developing client care and providing salon services.
