What will I study
AS: In the two core units you will study algebra, trigonometry, sequences and series and calculus (differentiation and integration) In statistics you will study probability, correlation and regression and the normal distribution.
A2: In the core units your studies will include calculus, trigonometry, vectors and logarithms. In the applied unit you will study mechanics or decision maths. Mechanics includes vectors, kinematics and dynamics.
Decision maths includes networks, linear programming and algorithms.
Study Visits
You will attend a revision conference given by the chief examiner from our exam board.
You will have opportunity to attend a 'Mathematics Inspiration' roadshow.
