Entry requirements:

• Foundation GNVQ or BTEC Foundation Certificate in a related subject;
• Four GCSEs at grade D or higher.
• Students will need to have competent written and oral communication skills and to be comfortable around computers.

What can this course offer me?
Worth 4 GCSE passes, this is a full time practically based course. Work is largely related to the media industries and tasks undertaken by students all lead to coursework. The course is a viable alternative to retaking several GCSEs, if you are serious about gaining a broad range of skills and maybe progressing onto a BTEC National.

What will I learn?
You should expect to be challenged and inspired by the way the subject encourages you to look at the media. You should gain a real sense of satisfaction from the completion of assignments. There is a great deal of group work, so expect to be a good team player.
