Course programme
This is a structured programme of eight evening sessions and a weekend morning. In each session we'll practise a method of mindfulness and how and why it can be useful. There are also opportunites to speak about our experience
The course includes:
* mindfulness meditations
* body awareness
* gentle stretching & movement
* group discussion
* home practice
You'll also receive CDs or audios with tutor-led instruction for use at home and a handbook. Practising at home is important and you will need to put aside time each day for formal practice as well as being encouraged to practise mindfulness in everyday activities. No experience of meditation or similar activities is needed and the course is non-religious in character.
