The MSc International Marketing is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and is a postgraduate degree with a strong focus on employability. It is aimed at graduates who have an interest in developing an in-depth specialist knowledge and a critical understanding of the key aspects of international marketing. This course is designed so that students can complete over a 21-month period.

The course offers the development of international marketing professional knowledge, covering the topics of marketing leadership, organisation reputation, decision making and emerging themes. Throughout the programme, you will discover specialist concepts relevant to marketing management, as well as learning how to develop strategic marketing plans which can support an internationally successful organisation.

Course Programme


On-campus and online students will study for one year, which is divided into two semesters and the summer period for the dissertation. Students will study four modules, each worth 30 credits, and another module worth 60 credits, totalling 180 credits.


The course will cover the following core modules:

  • International Marketing Leadership (30 credits)
  • Managing Organisational Reputation (30 credits)
  • Business Analysis and Decision Making (30 credits)
  • International Emerging Themes (30 credits)
  • Research Methods, Professional Development and Dissertation/Project (60 credits)
