What will I be doing?
You will complete six units over a two year period. These will involve:
- exploring and experimenting with music technology, using resources at your disposal
- learning about software applications and allied technology through the creation of music
- composing, arranging and recording pieces of music
- providing evidence of understanding the equipment used through practical demonstrations and written assessments
How will I be assessed?
A BTEC National Award is a practical, work-related course. You will learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. As well as learning about the employment area you have chosen, you will develop the skills you need to start a career.
