Within the travel and tourism industry, cabin crew still plays an extremely important role within the airline sector and great emphasis is still paced upon finding the prefect candidates for this demanding and extremely rewarding job. With this in mind the course has been designed to provide students with the underpinning knowledge required to work effectively as a member of airline cabin crew and provide the tools needed to deliver the highest level of standard and service to satisfy even the most difficult passenger.
This course will not only give you the opportunity to investigate the various areas of cabin crew but will also upon successful completion guarantee you interviews for a position with Thomas Cook, BMI & Monarch Airlines.
The course also includes:
- One practical training day at Gatwick using TUI's Mock Aircraft
- One 'A day in the life as a cabin crew member' training day at Gatwick with Monarch Airlines
- Trainers who are also current Cabin Crew
The main aim of this qualification is for students to investigate the various areas of cabin crew, these have been separated into the following units:
- Understanding the airline industry and the role of airline cabin crew
- Promote effective customer care in the airline industry
- Maintain effective team working and communication in the airline industry
- Contribute to the Health & Safety of airline passengers
- Contribute to aviation security
- Demonstrate an understanding of the airport arrival process
These different areas promote good practice in cabin crew by working towards national standards which will provide students with the qualification for entry to the airline industry.
