To provide a sound breadth of underpinning knowledge that enables people to discharge more effectively thier duties or functions with respect to health and safety in construction activities. Suitable for: Non-specialists in health and safety who require sound initial training leading to a basic recognised qualification through examination and assessment. These would include managers and supervisors, safety representatives and representatives of employee safety.

About this course

The NEBOSH National Construction Certificate is a unitised course. Candidates who attend and pass the NCC/1 & NCC/2, will be awarded a unitised certificate.

Delegates who have passed the NEBOSH National General Certificate (in the last 5 years) or passed the Management of Health & Safety paper (NGC1) of the National General Certificate, will receive the NEBOSH Certificate.

The NEBOSH National Certificate is a recommended pre-requisite for entry onto the NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health & pre-requisite for the Woodland Grange/Oxford Brookes University Diploma in Health & Safety Management.

Assessment & examination

Successful candidates will be awarded the NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Safety and Health on completion of the common NEBOSH Unit NGC1 and NCC Unit 1&2.

The practical assessment is carried out normally at the candidate's place of work on completion of the course and must be submitted for assessment within seven working days of the programme. Successful candidates will be awarded the NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Safety and Health.
