This is a legal requirement for any persons involved in excavations and reinstatements in the public highways. Its purpose is to provide a sound understanding of the techniques of Streetworks excavation and reinstatement. The successful completion of this training allows the holder to acquire the Streetworks identity card and certificates.

The course duration is governed by the amount of units the candidates are taking. This ranges from two to five days.
