What will I study?
This course is for any potential student who would like to work within a kitchen environment, and would like to learn how to prepare, cook and serve food.
How can I progress?
Students may continue their studies by completing NVQ Level 3 in Kitchen supervision but must be working in the industry. The qualification will improve prospects within the industry where there is a general shortage of skilled staff.

Course Structure
In order to gain a full NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery these units will be studied; *Health, Safety and Hygiene- within a kitchen environment, *Meat, Fish and Poultry Cookery Preparing, cooking and serving, *Larder Work Preparation, *Pastry Production Preparing cooking and serving various hot and cold desserts, *Stocks, Soups and Hot Sauces Prepare and cooking,
