This new Leadership & Management for Care Services NVQ replaces both the Registered Managers Award (RMA) and Managers of Residential Childcare. To achieve the full qualification you will need to complete 8 units; 4 Mandatory and 4 optional units. Mandatory Units1.

Develop and maintain systems, procedures and practice care services to manage risks and comply with health and safety requirements4.

Candidates should select those units that most reflect their actual job role. The assessors will discuss the options available and assist the candidate in selecting the most appropriate units.This NVQ is not approved for the use of candidates less than 19 years of age.Progression RoutesCandidates achieving the Level 4 NVQ in Leadership & Management for Care Services may want to consider progressing into higher level qualifications such as City & Guilds Professional Diplomas and certificates in:
