Painting including Watercolour & Landscape for Beginners - Summer Term

These three introductory courses are intended to build the confidence and experience of a complete beginner. Each of the three courses will look at the basic techniques and ideas of drawing and painting, working from still life and the model. During the summer term outdoor subject matter will be used (weather permitting) and watercolour painting techniques will be introduced.

Termly enrolment is possible. Fees are payable in advance for all courses and each course is devised for a limited number of students, so early enrolment is advisable. Students wishing to transfer from one course to another will be subject to a transfer fee. Fees are non-refundable. Please note: Heatherley School of Fine Art reserves the right to cancel, combine or reschedule courses, or adjust fees, or substitute lecturers as necessary.

Materials and School Shop
Easels, boards, printing inks and some sculpture materials are provided but students are expected to supply any additional materials needed. The School Shop stocks a range of art materials at reasonable prices.
