WHAT WILL I STUDY?
You will study the following subjects:

Planning & Control of Resources
Drafting Financial Statements
Contribute to the Maintenance of a Healthy, Safe and Productive Working Environment
Managing Accounting Systems
Management of Performance and the Enhancement of Value

Plus Two from Four Units:

Operate a Cash Management & Credit Control System
Preparing Business Taxation Computations
Preparing Personal Taxation Computations
Implementing Auditing Procedures

WHAT WILL I ACHIEVE?
Upon successful completion you will achieve the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Technician Stage Level 4. You can also obtain AAT membership after a relevant amount of work experience.

WHAT ARE MY COMMITMENTS?
You will need to attend college for approximately six and a half hours per week. In addition, you will need to spend up to ten hours per week on coursework at home or in college. Your assessments will need to be completed by the set deadlines.

Attendance at college is either:

Thursday 1.15pm - 9.30pm (1b524-09)

Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm (1b505-09)

WHAT CAN I DO AFTERWARDS?
AAT markets itself as being The Gold Standard and as such it is felt that employment prospects are excellent. The course provides marketable skills which are in great demand locally and nationally. You may be employed as a technician at all levels at high rates of remureration.
