Duration :3 - 6 months (part - time) - 5 day in Company Training Course, practical project work
Who the Course is For:
Business Improvement requires a shole organistation approach with individuals who are trained to involve themselves through effective teams to develop and sustain continual improvements within their organisation. The course is suitable for people working in all business enviroments, examples include engineering / manufacturing operations, warehousing activities to office based processes and many others.
Assessment:
Project based assessment to provide 3 examples of performance for each of the selected areas.
Course Leads To:
NVQ Level 3 and Level 4 in Business Improvement Techniques, achieved through either Process or Quality routes.
Entry Requirements:
Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy requirements. Candidates will be assess during the initial training period.
Content:
The course explores concepts of continual improvement and effective team work and demonstrates how eliminating waste, effective workplace organisation and effective visual management techniques will improve business performance; Candidates are challenged to prove their understanding through projects designed to improve key performance measures of Quality, Cost and Delivery. Projects are based on your Company requirements. The course has 5 mandatory elements and an optional module which is selected to best suit the needs of your business.
