Entry Requirement:
Alongside this course students will study for the Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Health, Safety and Security and Employment Standards. If you have already achieved this qualification this will not be required however, you will need to provide evidence of achievement.

This level 2 Award in Nail technologies is a vocational qualification which focuses on the development of the underlying principles and practical skills required in the industry. The qualification is about the particular skills involved in applying and maintaining nail enhancements. The knowledge gained in this qualificaton includes the preparation for, application, maintenance and removal of one of the following nail enhancement systems - UV gel, wraps and liquid and powder .It is designed to deliver occupational capability and provide a sound platform from which to enter into employment or progress onto further learning or training. This qualification has been designed using the National Occupational Standards in Beauty Therapy.

This will be predominantly observed assessment with portfolio evidence. There will also be an external multiple choice test.

18 weeks. September and February start.

Tuesday at Lincoln.

18.00-21.00
