Course Description: This course is the prerequisite course for those wishing to obtain NVQs in Plumbing. It contains practical installation skills and underpinning knowledge required for the first level of industry recognised plumbing qualifications. Modules include:

• Health & Safety
• Basic Plumbing Principles
• Common Plumbing Processes
• Cold & Hot Water Systems
• Sanitation
• Central Heating Systems
• Electricity
• Sheet Lead Working
• Effective Working Relationships and Environmental Awareness

All units are assessed by an on-line multi-choice assessment followed by an on-line examination in addition to completion of a practical workshop assessment module.

Entry Requirements: Selection by entry test and interview.
