ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants for the Diploma are likely to have met one of the following entry requirements:

HNC/HND qualification in Business and Management;
Professional Development Award in Supervisory Management;
Other relevant NVQ Level 3 Award;
Working towards and NVQ Level 4 in Management;
Appropriate work experience (i.e. practising managers)
Require professional management training/updating; or
Be aspiring to a senior management role.
PROGRAMME CONTENT/STRUCTURE
The aims of this programme are to provide you with the knowledge, understanding and skills you require for your continued professional development in your current and future employment in a management position.

The objectives of this programme are to:

Provide you with a nationally recognised qualification in management.

Provide you opportunities for study across a range of disciplines to enhance your personal and professional development.

Enable you to practice and develop a range of transferable skills in management.

Develop the capacity in you to manage your own learning and personal development.

Develop the capacity of Learners to evaluate critically and to apply management theories and practices in a variety of work based settings.

Provide you with a range of educational and other experience and equip you with the basis for further development at level 5.

In addition the Programme aims to develop the following skills:

To achieve the Diploma in Management Studies, learners must complete all 9 modules and pass the continuous assessment plus the completion of a Management Report and Personal Development Learning Log.
PROGRESSION/CAREERS OPPORTUNITIES
Completion of this course will gain you entry to the Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Management.
