ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
This course is specifically designed to provide adult learners with the opportunity to gain a full Level 2 qualification and prepare for progression to one of the Access to Higher Education Diploma courses. Applicants should have a long term goal of progressing to higher education, but will not have the appropriate study skills in place to achieve this. This course should be regarded as an opportunity to get these study skills firmly embedded prior to joining the Access to Higher Education course. Applicants will require to demonstrate initial assessment results at Level 1 in Literacy and Numeracy.
Being delivered and managed within the Access Department provides students with the opportunity to gain first hand experience of what will be expected of them when they progress upon successful completion of the course.
