Course content:
This intensive two-session course will cover all aspects of producing the low budget film. It is ideal for the budding filmmaker or anyone interested in the logistics of film production. Essentially, the course focuses on the pre-production of a short narrative film, though the skills learnt can extend to features, promos or any visual medium.
Predominantly a theory based class, students will learn of the requirements of the filmmaker on all aspects of production, including raising money, budgeting, scheduling, casting, marketing and distribution. The course will also be project based, concentrating on ways to effectively produce a short film script submitted by a member of the group.

1) Scripting; Budgeting; Scheduling
2) Casting; Equipment; Marketing & Distribution

All students have access to our fully equipped state of the art learning centre. This included free internet access.
Assessment:
Assessment will be through completed tasks.

When information is available you will notice 2 different fees stated for this course. The fee you pay is dependent on your status:
Fee 1: Standard fee;
Fee 2: Aged 60+ years fee
Students in receipt of an income-based benefit pay £20 per course per term.
You will need to bring proof of age and any benefits when you enrol.
You DO NOT have to pay a college registration fee for these courses, but you may have to pay for additional course materials.Materials costs:
