Health and Safety Awareness OCNW Certificate

Course content:
This qualification will introduce learners to the basic principles of health and safety including hazard awareness and risk assessment. Its aims are:
1. To understand the importance of health and safety good practice
2. To improve knowledge and understanding of safety issues within a work area, home or learning environment
3. To introduce the learner to basic hazard awareness
4. To introduce the learner to basic risk assessment
5. To give the learner the opportunity to apply their knowledge to a relevant practical context.
This course has start dates in: September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August.
Course resources:
All students have access to our fully equipped state of the art learning centre. This included free internet access.

Fees Info
The fee where stated is an 'INCLUSIVE FEE' for UK/EU students. This fee includes the tuition fee, examination fee and exam board registration fee. You may have to pay extra for materials for the course. If you are under 19 years or you are in receipt of an income related benefit the course and exam fee is FREE. Students aged 60+ years pay 70% of this fee. Students aged 19+ will also have to pay a College Registration Fee of £30 (or £20 if you receive benefit) once per academic year.Materials costs:
The tutor will advise you about any materials costs.
