About the course : This course is for Employees currently working as senior health care assistants in a variety of clinical settings will benefit from this national qualification. Participants will consolidate practical workplace skills relating to National Occupational Standards and their job role.

Mandatory Units :
Maintain health and safety in a clinical/therapeutic environment.
Maintain communication and records within the organisation.
Promote effective communication for and about individuals.
Promote, monitor and maintain health, safety and security in the working environment.
Reflect on and develop your practice.
Promote choice, well-being and the protection of all individuals.

Optional Units :
There will be a range of optional units to choose from.

Entry requirements
After this course : Employees can develop their role and responsibilities at work and progress into nursing or allied healthcare professions.

Cost : This course is offered under the Train to Gain programme and is free to individuals who don't already have a level 2 qualification. Otherwise the cost is £150.
