Who is the programme for? This programme is for anyone who might not have the traditional entry qualifications to gain direct entry onto a three year honours degree programme in a health related discipline.

Entry to the Programme?

How is it assessed? Assessment is through a variety of methods including on-line assignments, case studies, presentation and essays.

Future prospects? Students who complete the Foundation Year Health can progress onto the articulated progression route from the programme which is the BA (Hons) Women's Health. However, student may apply to other programmes of study, subject to meeting relevant admission criteria, such as nursing, and will be guaranteed an interview.

When will the programme start? The programme will start in September 2010

How long will it take? It will take between one and two academic years dependent upon the mode of study. The academic year is over 30 weeks, 2 X 15 week semesters.

How do I apply? Applications for the full time route should be made via UCAS. Mature students, however, may apply to the College in the first instance but will eventually have to apply through UCAS.
