Part Time Improve Your English - City & Guilds 3792 Certificate in Adult Literacy (H)

This course is for you if:
You speak English fluently and you want to improve your reading, writing and spelling and get a qualification.

There are a small number of courses where the full fee has to be paid by everyone, these are known as Commercial Activity Programmes (previously known as FULL COST courses). Unfortunately, we do not offer any reductions or discounts irrespective of age, status or circumstances.

Entry Requirements
Open to adults who are free in the day or the evening.

About the course:

There are classes at different levels - Entry 1, Entry 2/3 and Level 1

You will have the opportunity to:
- improve your reading and writing
- improve spelling, punctuation and grammar
- get help with writing letters and form filling
- learning how to study
- use computers and develop your IT skills
- practise speaking in public
- take part in group discussions

You will study:
- 6 hours of English each week, plus one hour tutorial
- early evening courses are from 5.00pm to 7.30pm

Assessment:
City & Guilds 3792 Literacy Qualification

After the course:
You can progress on to other courses, in the college or seek employment.
