Course description
Do you wish to enter the dog grooming profession or are already working within the industry? The level 2 Intermediate certificate in Dog Grooming is a one year professional qualification run one day per week for 24 weeks. The qualification comprises of 3 units - the dog grooming environment; preparing dogs for bathing; bath, dry and prepare dogs for styling. You will be assessed by practical tests and an exam is taken at the end of the course.

Additional information
This is a one year part-time course which concentrates on the basic practical skills needed to carry out dog grooming tasks on a range of diffferent breeds of dog. You will learn and develop brushing, bathing and drying skills. There will be some theory input to ensure students have the underpinning knowledge required for the external on-line test which is sat at the end of the course. In additon to this on-line test each unit is assessed by practical tests
